Honestly yes it is not really on the soft side, not super rough. I love it and I can live with it! Beautiful design and thinking about buying more of this.I originally planned to purchase the "Wonky Grid" bedding set from Urban Outfitters for my daughter's room as part of a birthday gift (we are in the process of redecorating her room). However, when I tried to order it, UO was completely out of stock and didn't have a clue when they were going to get another shipment...my daughter had her heart set on the grid bedding, so I began to search elsewhere. I came across this seller--who happens to be relatively new to Amazon, but the design is as close to the Wonky Grid as you can get, so I decided to order it and hope for the best (not to mention it's much less expensive than UO!). Once the package arrived, I was a little nervous to open it but was so pleasantly surprised! The design is great--from the photos it looks like the larger grid side has more of a tan design in between the black grid--and it does, but it is very light so it's not stark white. My daughter preferred the smaller grid side to face up on her bed, so we inserted her duvet and it looks great. The quality is nice--sturdy stitching and a good quality zipper to close the duvet, and the envelope pockets on the pillowcases are deep to hold the pillows more securely. Overall I am very happy with the way it looks--and I've uploaded a quick photo for reference. My cat definitely approves...he refuses to get off the bed. Haha :-)I received a thank-you email from the seller and then another once I told them I received the item. My interactions with this seller have been great, so I will definitely order again when I'm looking for home goods.Colors are exactly like on the picture. The material is not as soft as my other covers but I think it worths the money.Soft, thin material and cannot see the pattern of the comforter inside of it. I really like this product! The quality was better than I expected for such a great price. The seams are well stitched and there wasn’t a ton of random threads everywhere like with some cheap duvet covers. I would totally buy this product again and I am so happy I purchased it.It's just the most beautiful color and you can tell this duvet is made with care. So worth the money. I bought a queen size duvet and a king insert for fluffynessThe fabric is a little rough (wish it was softer) but looked great when paired with a down comforter. I see other reviews about it being thin but note that it is a duvet, not a comforter in and of itself. It’s supposed to go over/around a comforter.The fabric is kinda of shiny and strange to the touch, but I think it's not all cotton so what's great is it doesn't wrinkle. The color was exact and I like it overall. the pillow shams are not really shams and they don't cover the entire regular size pillow so that was disappointing and had to put another pillow case underneath.Buy for my daughter she like it and enjoy the comfort of the comforter she put inside duvet. Sleeping in heaven. Color is soft on the eyes and brighten the room up..This set looks very pretty in the photos however it is definitely not black as the colour description states, it is grey shades which is disappointing. The ties to secure your duvet are very flimsy and in a loop which made tying the duvet in a bit difficult. Also does not sit on the bed as shown in photos, if you want the length you need to size up at least two sizes, which for a king size bed I couldn’t do. Kind of scratchy actually (and yes i wash with fabric softener). Really nice but pillow sheets are small for a regular pillow and faded pretty easily! Not worth $80-90Very disappointed after three washes .. it’s already ripped where the seam meets the zipper :( and is already fading.The fabric faded really badly after one wash. There were light streaks all over the place!
