Black and White Bloomingdale 4-Piece King/Cal-King Comforter Set - 100% Cotton 300 Thread Count - Luxury Bedding for Master Bedroom & Guest Room

I really like this set. It's really really soft and the pattern is really cool too. I can't seem to get the duvet cover to be flat with the down in it. This could be an operator error on my part but it's just so fluffy at the ends and I want it to lay flat. The down that comes with this is really really nice for the money that you pay for it. It's really really warm. I don't really see how it would fit a California King considering I have a king and I'm not amazingly satisfied with how far it hangs down on either side. All and all a really good buy. I'll update after I've had it for a while.01/27/2015 UpdateI have had this now for about 6 months. I still really really like it. I have two dogs and it's SO easy to clean. Take the duvet out dump it in the wash good to go! I will say having a king duvet and being a short person is a little difficult so be prepared to do some work. I lay mine on my bed and climb inside of it to get all the sides to lay flat when I'm tying everything down. The down is still really nice. The only issue that I have is the length. I have a regular king and the sides don't hang at all so you can see my sheets. I hate that it doesn't hang all the way down on the sides to the bottom of my mattress. Hasn't really faded at all.After our dog chewed up our comforter, I decided to replace it with one that was less expensive, in case she does that again. This comforter set is not only reasonably priced, it is well made and pretty. (And so far inrtact,)The only major qualm I have is that its size should be a little bigger to be able to labeled "Queen" in any way, even though I understand it is labeled "Full/Queen". It does fit our queen bed but is just small enough to cause some occasional blanket wars with the hubby. ;)Other than that, we love the pattern, the fabric (quality!), and the warmth. We didn't know if we'd like a duvet-We do like it! The top sometimes is hard to grab because the comforter will sometimes slide down (though it is tied at the corners); it'd be nice to have maybe one more tie at the top middle of the comforter/duvet cover. Though, I think this is pretty common with all comforters/duvet sets to have 4 only ties, one at the corner. We have not washed it yet, so I cannot speak to the washing durability, but I will most likely wash it on a delicate or normal cold cycle.Very bright. You have to put it together yourself. A 2 person job and it does not lay flat.Could be softer. I like it thoughFirst of all, this is a duvet cover that comes with a white comforter. Since I'd wanted an actual comforter, not a duvet cover, that wasn't the happiest discovery for me. It's not expensive, but it doesn't give the impression of being cheap. It's not overly prone to wrinkling. I feel that it would have been a better fit in my dorm or my starter apartment than in the house I have now, but didn't feel like going through the hassle to return it. It's not a bad price, it's cute, it's proven quite durable, and for this price ($110), I don't care if the dogs jump on the bed once in awhile.Great quality and beautiful color. So why four stars? You have to iron them after washing. I know, i know, I should have expected that but.... i own other 100% cotton sheets and dont have to iron them.This beautiful duvet is so soft, cuddly warm and the perfect price. We love it!I am so happy with this set. I was looking for an alternative to a flat sheet and scratchy comforter. Egyptian cotton is so soft and now my bed is so much easier to make, I just pull up one cover straighten the pillows and my bed is made. And washing is a breeze just unbutton the duvet throw in washer. I love the colors as well. And the weight is perfect not too warm and nor too cold. It came on time and just as described by company. I also bought my son the Twin XL bed in a bag for college in the fall, perfect.Nice quality bedding to update look of guest space, especially as it is made of good quality cotton and not polyester. Cheerful, clean print. Perfect for what was needed.After owning this for two years. It fits great and the colour has barely faded after washing it weeklyJust as shown and described. Great quality.
